“The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. The owners of the house even reached out to us that we could check in early because of a winter storm getting ready to hit the area so we were able to get on the road earlier in the day. That right there should tell you alot about who you are renting the house from. I give the house 5 stars and will be returning in the near future! O and the view from the deck is amazing looking over the Indian River where we saw numerous bald eagles……

“Had an amazing time with my family making memories to last a lifetime. I grew up most of my life coming up to the area and my parents had lived near the location. My girls enjoyed kayaking everyday, bon fire 🔥, hearing the elk bugle, fishing in the river, Ocqueoc falls, and making big dinners. The game room is a great space too. My girls want to come back every year.”

“This property is as described and shown in photos. It is small, we had awesome sleep as the bed is comfortable. It is accurately described and depicted in photos and is what we expected. Outside mosquitoes are prevalent but there is screen in porch. It was quiet and we slept well for our 1 night stay.”

“The cabins were cute, cozy, and a perfect quick getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful, would be a great summer spot to enjoy the water. The bed was not super comfy, but for the price it was perfect. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the cabin too! We would return.”

“Very rustic. Fun place to stay. Wish the bathroom was updated, but everything worked and was fine. Great location to use as a base to visit UP locations and the Island. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Highly recommend if you like rustic places with great character!! We would love to stay there again!!”

“The cabins are pretty close together, and the water is only about 5 feet away when exiting out of cabin 6s back porch. Cabin 6s bathroom is pretty small, and hard to walk through. The whole bathroom is cramped including the toilet area. The walk in shower is really out of place and the only light in the bathroom is right above the shower stall. The steam from my shower made the light flicker, which I got a little freaked out by it. The cabin overall could use a lot small repairs and updates.……

“Overall well! A bit dirtier and quite a few webs but Ross is awesome and helped us throughout the planning of the trip. The young lady that showed us around was super friendly as well and came by prettt fast when we arrived to the house”
