"This place was the nicest motel I have ever stayed at. Probably also the most expensive motel. There were definitely nice touches. I booked through Expedia. Online it only said it was pet friendly, one reason we booked. We have 2 fur babies. But it did not have any stipulations just that it was pet friendly. After we booked I ended up talking to the hotel just to double check it was pet friendly and figure out how the check in process worked. They said it was pet friendly and that there was a pet fee which is totally fine with me. We stayed 1 night. After we left they reached out and said we were informed you had 2 pets and charged another pet fee which again was fine. I thought I had already mentioned that and wasn't trying to hide that. They then continued to let me know that there were stipulations for pets. They only like pets under 35 lbs, which I literally had no idea or else I wouldn't have stayed at this place. I like places that are actually pet inclusive. I wish they had these stipulations communicated across all platforms. Otherwise a nice place just maybe not for pet owners."
"It was convenient off the interstate however, the room needed some maintenance. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall, there where cracks in the ceiling, the table was broken and the wires for the AC were exposed. If our party planned in staying longer than one night we would have moved to another hotel."
"Bathtub was dirty and had a bug crawling in it. Water pooled on the floor beneath the leaking toilet. Second room had an extremely dirty bathtub rim with a bug beneath a towel. The total stay did not exceed five minutes."
"Found a cockroach in our room.
The staff was friendly and the room seemed alright, just a few cosmetic issues, but when we woke up in the morning there was a cockroach on the desk in our room. I told the employee while checking out, and she was shocked and apologetic, but when there's one there's usually more."
