We recently stayed at this property on the "Pest" side of Budapest. They property was exactly as listed and the interaction with the owner was very positive. Check-in was We were able to walk to many of Budapest's attractions (Parliament buildings, St. Stephans, Dohany synagogue etc).

Great Location

We found it close to grocery, pharmacy, ATM and coffe shops. Easy public transportation access. Our only difficulty came from confusing check in..too many, unmarked keys and unit door unmarked. But overall our stay was enjoyable.

Budapest End of December

Lovely apartment in a great location--easily walkable to major sites in Pest as well as great public transit access to all of city (Buda, Szechenyi baths). Thomas and his team were great communicators before and during stay, and gave great advice to seeing city and even arranged for airport pick up. Slight hiccup in checking in but team VERY quickly responded and was fixed in no time, which I think shows how responsive they are overall (which is very important). Quirky decor made it even more fun (my almost adult sons loved the Wii). Would stay here again and in any other Thomas Varga run property.

The Best of Budapest

This was my first experience with VRBO. I could not have been more pleased. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The location was great. Thomas communicated with me and had someone open the property when we're arrived early. He arranged a pick up to the train station for our next trip to Vienna. Wonderful time.

Beautiful and well-equiped apartment.Great Host.

This is a really beautiful and well-equiped apartment. We are a family of four with grow-up children, and we all think that the apartment was the perfect base for our holiday in Budapest. The apartment is centrally located with most major sights within walking-distance. The area is very nice and lively but the apartment is really quiet and very safe. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony facing the quiet patio after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment was very clean and it's beautifully decorated.The bathroom is very nice and we also want to mention that the beds are really comfortable. Our host, Thomas, was extraordinary helpful and made sure that we had a wonderful stay. He arranged transportation to/from the airport, car rental and gave us very useful advices and tips on restaurants etc. We felt very welcome. We warmly recommend this apartment – we would definitely love to come back. When you visit Budapest we would like to recommend the Free Walking Tours (triptobudapest hu) It's a great way to learn about Budapest and the history of Hungary (the tours are free but don't forget to tip them well).
