“What a beautiful and peaceful location for a stay. Scenic, close to town, all amenities provided. Would be lovely to come back in winter to enjoy the fireplace. Will definitely be returning. ”

“There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window ”

“Our first visit to Alderwood Cottage and it was a delight with a very well equipped place and lovely location . We experienced a black out due to the high winds but this was handled very well by the agent and owner . Very peaceful and a great stay ”

“The spa pool was a big disappointment. It’s an outside, plastic, Bunnings style. Water was dirty. Internally, very comfortable but not as clean as necessary. The curtains are hanging off the rods in places. 2 ladies staying for 3 nights but only 2 coffee pods provided. Hair in the shower and no electric blankets. Oh dear. ”

“The property is in the backyard of another property. The "studio" is an converted garage. There is no off street parking which you are not told about until you arrive. Access to the property is by a side gate down the side of the main house.. no lighting for night time arrival or departure. There is a gate at the entrance of the shed which the people in the main house can watch you come and go... zero privacy... Would not recommend.”

“Our stay at Shell House was wonderful. The house was truly delightful, with creative/artistic features, quality appliances and a relaxed urbanity. Alex was a generous and communicative host, and we can't recommend highly enough.Husky is a gem and certainly gave good weather and awesome vibes while we were there. We'll be back!”

“This was an older style house with a surprise inside. It is fantastically renovated and a pleasure to live in. Tony the host was on the ball, helpful and very keen to please. If you’re looking for somewhere different to stay Valencia and nearby towns will surprise you. Very close to the beach which was beautiful. All in all a great experience.”
