It is an old victorian home, over 100 years old and a fixture of Buffalo's golden age. The home is old though and a lot of work has been done into it, but the original wooden windows, cabinets, and doors are still the same. But with any old things there are creaks and issues that we're always improving on. The neighborhood itself is quickly growing. The old industrial area is quickly becoming a hip and a destination akin to Kingston or Bushwick. New bars and breweries like Mint Mojito and Mortalis Brewing are around the corner. Cute shops like Coocoou antique, Daddy's Plants, and Local Honey Beauty Hive are becoming cornerstone establishments along side existing half a century old businesses like Santasiero's Italian restaurant.
