"A great hotel in a convenient location, close to the airport. There’s a train station just an 8-minute walk away, with direct connections to Berlin city centre, making it easy to get around. "Overall a really fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. When we arrived it was very difficult to establish where to check in as multiple check-in locations were closed. Eventually when we did check in, they will never check you in early - they even suggest you park your car at the lodge, which is strange as you can see your lodge available and ready to use but the key doesn’t work till 3pm. Then when it was 3pm we walked back to the lodge only from the hangar to find the key didn’t work so had to walk back to the desk (15 minute walk each way) whilst my wife had to feed our crying baby on the steps of the lodge. Other than that, it’s such a cool place and our lodge was lovely. The restaurant in the tiki bar, was absolutely fantastic and was way above our expectations. The wristband system for paying for everything is dangerously easy! As mentioned, we travelled with a baby and aside from the check-in process, it really was perfect as the water is a lovely temperature and no danger of being cold out of the water in tropical climate of the hangar. We had Amazonian lodge with a sauna and it was brilliant. As stated before it’s a 10-15 minute walk which is fine (as long as your key works..!)"
