“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fair Oaks Ranch. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We were able to invite my sister and her husband over for a lunch and used the outdoor kitchen to cook fajitas. It was so nice and peaceful there. Room and bed were comfortable. Fridge was bigger than the small ones in a hotel. Definitely would stay there again.”

“We have stayed in hotels/B&Bs all over the Hill Country. We stayed in the good, the bad and the ugly. This one is in a gray area between the good and the bad. This is an older propery. Fairly well kept. The furniture is cheap and unattractive. The mattress was ok, just very loud when my husband would turn over. There were bugs...mind you mostly dead, but still bugs. Not a huge deal b/c it's in the middle of a tiny forest. We did enjoy our stay but I have suggestions: 1) Check all lights before……

“The guest house was even better than pictured online. It was clean and the decor was inviting. Dori provided the basic essentials, more than I expected. It was myself, my mom and my brother. It was very relaxing and I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definetky stay here again if I return to San Antonio.”

“Overall, the space was spacious and comfortable. Covered deck was enticing and a great place to stay cool and relax. Very convenient location to the Pearl and River walk. We traveled with our elderly mom and it would have been helpful to know it was located on the second floor with steep steps. A few more hand towels and dish towels would be helpful. Overall, the apartment worked well.”

“The Peahen House is a beautiful property in a nice neighborhood. Having real peacocks in the neighborhood was pretty cool. We had easy access to several major highways that made it easy to get around San Antonio. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Peahen House.”

It is an excellent place to step away from the business of normal life, stop and smell the wildflowers, watch the deer, and slow down. We will stay here again.”

“This Casita was perfect for our visit to San Antoino. Great location close to any shopping restaurants and site seeing. The hot tub was a pulse with two kids 7 and 11. They enjoyed the evenings in the water. Host was easy to commutate with. Will definitely visit again. ENJOY !!!”

“Everything looked great, clean, spacious, other than that guest house is under the main house so you can hear al the stomping and chair and couches moving and dragging all above you so is not the relaxing house you're looking forth.”

However, the lady who works at night doesn’t know anything so don’t ask her any questions because you’ll never get an answer, other than that, it was great ”
