“Lovely place to stay! Especially enjoyed the fenced backyard.”

“There was some confusion over reservation but host took care if it. Problem with water but host was getting it taken care of. Location was nice. Very steep dirt grassy driveway. Rain and snow could make it difficult if not impossible to to get up. No check in or check out instructions. No large garbage can outside. With all yhis said the host did all he could do to make sure we had what we needed.”

“Things I liked about the property: Convenient location to many great fishing location, house old but very clean, quiet, plenty of parking, nice fridge/freezer and kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Things I wish were better: furniture not comfortable, bed pillows were clean but not comfy, small bathroom, toilet worked but low water pressure. Would stay again and better than a hotel.”

The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. “This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. “Convenient location just off the main road. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. Plenty of room to hang out between the living room upstairs and the game room downstairs. The dishwasher was out of order. The phone numbers for contacting the property manager didn't work, but after e-mailing, we got a call back and there was no difficulty after that. It would've been nice if towels were provided, but the listing advised that they weren't so we were prepared.”

“My sister lives in NJ, and this is a halfway point from me in South GA. We had such a comfortable visit in this cozy little home that comes with a sweet (big, fluffy!) outside kitten named Mittens. This location was great for a variety of local and chain restaurants (10min max) and trails and views for the adventurers in the fam! There was an issue with the Internet, which I needed for work, and the host was extremely helpful and responsive and got it working as soon as possible. Grateful for……
