"Darling place in great location. We stayed here for three nights with our teen on the pull out couch as we were visiting a local college. The bed in the primary room was extremely comfortable and the room had blackout curtains. If you have a 3rd/4th guest and light bothers them at all, they might bring an eye mask. The bedding, towels, and amenities were all high quality. The kitchen was well-stocked; the knives were even good quality and sharp in the kitchen (so rare in a VRBO). A well-stocked Keuring and back up coffee and tea covered us for the three days. The heated kitchen and bathroom floors are a lovely luxury. There were welcome snacks, which were very nice after long flights. There is a wonderful bakery 2-minute walk away (August First), a yummy seafood place a 5-minute walk away, and we ate at an excellent French bistro in the cute Church Street district after our college visit. Communication with Laurie was easy; we felt well taken care of. The place is petite, but well-designed. Three of us had to dance around each other a bit, but it would be perfect for a romantic couples vacation. Checkout requirements were easy (take out the trash, pile towels next to the washer, and start the dishwasher if you used the dishes). We’d return if we come back to Burlington!"

"Wonderful king bedroom suite. Clean, spacious and well-appointed. Good breakfast and coffee. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I used the fitness room on my second day (day one it was being refurbished with new wallcovering) and it has a 4 cardio machines: 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and 1 stationary bike. There's also a weight ball rack and a weight machine with 3 stations. I would have enjoyed free weights, but I took advantage of what was available. All in all, GMS is outstanding and I highly recommend!"

"I have stayed here many times over the past 10 years for work, visiting my kids at college and other personal trips. Always a great experience. I love the indoor common areas, like Atrium restaurant, bar, and the TV area in the lobby. We had an especially positive breakfast experience. "

"We stayed here exactly one year ago for our child's admitted student day at UVM and are glad we came back. The renovations they were undergoing at that time resulted in a very comfortable Lobby and restaurant/ bar area. The bartender who served us on Friday night was incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet/parking service was very convenient and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the location in town was super convenient."

"The Hotel was in a convienient location. Just a few minutes to walk to to shops and restaurants. We were quite dissapointed when we found out just a few days before our stay that the hotel was under construction. The pool, hot tub and bar were not open. We had to wake up to hammers and banging in the morning. This is something that we should have been notified about up front. They had plastic hanging around the entrance to keep the cold air out of the lobby, and when we went walked out a large chunk of ice fell off and hit me in the head. Not a great stay."
