River view vacation

Wonderful stay. Went in middle of week, before school out so had place to myself. The grounds were clean and upkept even though not busy time. Office available for any questions. Views were gorgeous, just as advertise. Kayak, swam, walked. Enjoyed porch/tree swings in morning with coffee or book. Lots of shaded seating. Plenty of stuff to do if you brought family or friends, or want a quiet spot for yourself.

The property is great! Lots of shade on a creek right off of LBJ. The staff was great and the amenities (paddle boards, kayaks etc) were free!

Cozy cute duplex log cabin on Colorado River/Lake LBJ. We enjoyed our stay in Manda Shae bed was comfy, kitchen had what we needed for our short stay. Living room was upstairs in the loft. Right on the water nice view from front porch.

This time we shared the Rica Shae & Manda Shae with family members. We loved the shared porch and the openness of the cabins. I wouldn't want to share it with strangers but it was perfect for us. Each day we enjoyed the beach and kayaking with the kids. The kids absolutely loved the water trampoline. It's so peaceful here in September. We also rented a pontoon boat for the first time and that was an absolute blast. We will definitely be back next September!

Reviewer Comments: I’ve always longed to find a “ cabin in the woods” as a vacation spot and managed to find a few but none of them compared to our find at “ Log County Cove”. First of all the careful detail that went into the architecture of the solid rustic construction of the building left me speechless. We slept like a rock in one of the most comfortable beds that I have had the pleasure to rest upon.The cabin was clean and the rest of the property was clearly well maintained. The room temperature was perfect. The lake and the beach area as well as all of the rest of the amenities were within feet of our cabin. The staff was professional friendly and accommodating.I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get out of the city for a few days. This is the perfect hideaway. I gave it five stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Best!

This has been one of the most peaceful and relaxing getaways ever!! We went to a nice 6 mile hike at Ink State park and enjoyed every bit of this mini vacation. We will definitely be back!!
