"Front desk was very nice; felt safe "

"Our room wasn’t quite as clean as it should have been. Towels were stained. They were white and should have been bleached. The bathroom had a pocket door, so no hooks on it to hang damp towels. One chair in the room had very worn fabric and needed to be reupholstered or replaced. The hallways were very dark, as was the room. The pool area was lacking. It only had 5 lounge chairs, which people placed towels on to save them. The restaurant was fine but a take out order that was supposed to take 15 minutes took more than 1/2 an hour."

"Awesome stay"

"Staff was patronizing when asked questions and accomodations especially after check-in. The room was not what the online pictures showed. Nevertheless, the room was filthy. The door stopper was not secured. No extractor in bathroom ceiling. There was rust in almost every metal surface and many indicators of mold. When this was brought to the attention of the manager/owner he didn't seem surprised nor concerned. Instead he stated that hotel was an ONE STAR hotel. Online I saw it was a TWO STAR. This man did not care about his guests' wellbeing, comfort, time, nor money. We paid around $70 for one night. On my way out of the place he told us, without being asked, that we didn't qualify for a refund because we had been there over an hour, but if were to call expedia they would get in contact with him and figure out from there. That guy needs that money to fix that place up. Cheers!"

"Clean room and comfortable beds, we slept like champions. A highly friendly and attentive staff. The roof top bar for cocktails and breakfast did the job! Quiet but close to everything. We liked this property and think the planned renovation is bang on. The hotel facilities are a little tired but not that far gone just yet! "
