“We have just returned from a three night stay in this cottage in Grassington. The location is ideal and all pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. There are some lovely walks nearby, the area is one of outstanding natural beauty and the cottage has private parking. It should be noted that the filming of All Creatures Great and Small does disrupt the flow of people and traffic in the village but this happens just twice a year. The cottage itself is nicely presented but there is not so……

“Fabulous 4 days,we had everything we needed even down to a backpack and flask. Only issue was the parking especially with having two small children but apart from that could not fault the cottage. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Definitely will book again. Well done !”

“What a lovely stay we had at Russell Retreat! The place was super clean and very cosy. The location's perfect too, close to the center of the town as well as to the station and grocery stores. Some tips: for us, the blanket for sleeping was too small. It was also not entirely clear where we could find extra towels (we were staying for a week). Pans in the kitchen were heavily used and frankly dangerous to use (PFAS). We picked the place because it has a beautiful kitchen, but bought two new pans……
