“Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave.”

“Hi This is a lovely, quiet little cottage. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and has very effective heating (we visited in November). We appreciated all the guide books and large collection of books and games.The stairs might be a bit steep for some, but otherwise the cottage was excellent and we would be happy to stay there again.”

On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. “The Old Dairy was as advertised and the farm itself is very pretty. The location is well situated in the Peak and easy to get to various towns and walks. Getting back and forth to Sheffield is under 30 minutes as well. The host was very communicative and when we left a jumper behind - posted it back to us the next day. We would definitely return to the farm.”
