"Black mould visible on walls, ceiling and all over the bathroom. Staff were lovely but only one person on the property at any time and no way to draw their attention if they were occupied. The vacant block opposite allows a beautiful view. Away from the touristic area which was a deliberate choice but the poorly maintained paths made access with luggage difficult. Laundry was returned still damp in a plastic bag and no tea/coffee making facilities available before 9am. Would not pass health and...

"Here’s the thing—brutal truth for a place that should have been amazing (maybe the photos are old?). The location is great, but the reality doesn’t match the pictures. The place feels very tired. Room & Bedding: The furniture is worn, full of cigarette burns, and the bed was hard. Instead of a duvet, they gave us a throw, and when I asked for a proper duvet, I was questioned about it. "Our recent stay at the Pera Palace was wonderful. It is a beautiful and historic hotel in a buzzing area of Beyoğlu. Our suite was lovely and very comfortable and clean with all the ammenities we required. As with any hotel what makes a it great is the staff and this is where the Pera Palace excels. From check-in and concierge to the housekeeping staff all were friendly, polite and welcoming. Special mention goes to the fabulous team in the bar who looked after and entertained us so well over our stay, thank you. We will definitely be back!"

They can use some better pillow options, they were a bit old and uncomfortable. In general it was a great stay. Everything is literally minutes away walking distance. "
