“We went to Birmingham for a quick getaway to enjoy the city and check out the food scene. The townhouse had a ton of character and we really liked the finishes and decoration. Very clean and well maintained. The location has lots to offer with restaurants and shops within a mile of the property.”

“Condo was spacious and looks like it was recently decorated and remodeled nicely. However, there was a broken toilet seat, and my MIL almost fell using it the first time because she didn't notice it (started to slide over). There was a missing TP holder in the other bathroom, and after walking down the hallway a few times, the bottoms of our feet were black. The condo could definitely use a few more amenities, like dish towels, pot holders and maybe a few more plates/cups/silverware. We had……

“We stayed at The Butterfly House when to attend a show at Avondale Brewing. The house is perfect with a fenced in backyard. The neighborhood is very walkable. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We were in town for a basketball tournament and needed an alternative to a hotel. This was a nice alternative. It is an older well home in a quiet neighborhood. No bells and whistles. It’s not a place that I would recommend hosting or entertaining but for a small family as an alternative to a hotel it was fine. I would recommend that the owner provide their guest with a full size ironing board. I know it’s small but it’s a very inexpensive way to add one additional convenience.”

“Overall a success. This is a beautiful old historic home with lots of cool features. It was great for our usage - business associates in the Birmingham area for the Porsche Driving Experience. I would say it would be great for families and kids too. The rental process was great and convenient.”

It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. “Well appointed cottage a couple of blocks off a busy street with easy access to the hospitals, downtown & clubs. Home is nicely decorated with a welcoming swing on the front porch. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe & fantastic for walking with a park 2 blocks away. Options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are also close by. The General is a quaint coffee shop with good breakfasts and a lovely gift shop. Communication with the owner was easy and swift. Washcloths and bath/shower soap were in……

“We were visiting family in Hoover and 4 of us stayed at this house. Clean, roomy and had most of what we needed. We suggest a booklet with the wifi info and possibly things to do in the area. But, we certainly would rent again!!”

“House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property.”

“Me and some buddies came in from out of town to see a show at Avondale Brewery! This house was a 2 minute ride from Avondale Brewery, with many others attractions in the neighborhood, and the Uber charges were exceptionally reasonable. Very nice house. Sizeable kitchen, large dinning table, plenty of seating around the table, sofa that would seat 4-5 comfortably or two people could stretch out, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. I would definitely consider this house for a future trip.……

“Great location to Barber Motorsports track ( 30 mins). Plenty of parking - we had 4 mustangs. Quiet neighbor. Within 5 mins of most Shopping needs - Santo coffee 2 min drive and GREAT!”
