"The Staff were very nice, very helpful and friendly. I arrived several hours early. The room was not yet ready and the Receptionist allowed me to leave my luggage in an adjoining room, free of charge. The accomodation is facing the Police Station, on a quiet street and close to the Port, that you can look down on. It is only 10 mins walk from the Bus Station and beside all the Shops, Restaurants etc. In a very good location."

"We had a fantastic stay at Son Granot hotel, Miguel, Mario and Ximena and all the staff were so welcoming to us and were happy to help with anything we needed. This is a lovely b&b located just out of a small town (close enough to walk), the pool was perfect for the warm weather!! The room had everything you needed and breakfast was delicious. We also visited the restaurant at the bottom of the drive which was delicious and would recommend (Pulau). We hope to stay here again!"

"It was a pretty good place to stay. Not that nicest accommodation, and some parts could do with updating (eg we were excited to see a hammock outside our room - but it was covered in mildew). It was quite quiet which was nice. The staff were helpful at check in and helping to book us an early morning taxi to the airport, and the breakfast was good. It's not very central but still walkable to everything we wanted to do. They were able to provide a rollaway bed for my son so we can two separate...

"The staff were amazing, and couldn't do enough. A special thank you to Carmen on reception for the super efficient check in. Also to the guy on the roof terrace seving drinks on 10/10. He was so friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the bath room was not clean"

"Casa Abajo is, true to description, a stone's throw from the beach and we loved coming back from our swim to a good shower (excellent water pressure, btw). The a/c unit in the living room, together with the fans in the bedrooms, meant it was cool enough to sleep at night. It was a cosy place to stay, the communication with the host and her local housekeeper was quick and easy.There are 20-odd steps from the gate up to the terrace - these are visible from the website photos so no surprises there. We were surprised, though, that in mid-late September it was still tricky to find a parking space outside; however, there is a large overspill carpark down the road, opposite the Osprey Hotel. Speaking of which, we would recommend the Osprey's Nest, a terrace-restaurant on the 3rd floor: the menu is limited but the food is excellent. Which sadly cannot be said for the 2 beach bars that were open during our stay - even their coffee left much to be desired, but the villa's Dolce Gusto machine was up to the task. We had a couple of lunches up in the village itself, where there are several good bars and restaurants.We happened to be staying during the local fiesta week, and the villa's terrace afforded us a ringside seat of the equine "jaleo" proceedings on and by the beach. It was also the perfect people-watching spot. A quiet, relaxing holiday for these lazy octogenarians!"

"Nice villa in a quiet part of Calanporter but still walkable to everywhere. Outdoor area is great and well equipped. Kitchen could do with some more glass tumblers and cereal bowls as not enough for the 6 people that could stay there, however if you want wine glasses and shot glasses you're sorted! Shame the shower in the 2nd bathroom couldn't be hung on the wall. We all ended up using the other shower."

"We (myself and five young adults) spent six nights here in early September 2026. The resort is small and pretty, the bar and pool were beautifully kept, and it was incredibly peaceful. The staff were all lovely - unobtrusive but always there if you needed something. The apartments are 5 mins from the supermarkets and bars - though while they advertise a 6 minute walk to beach, I would say 15 minutes due to the area being hilly and lots of steep steps. The beach is absolutely stunning when you get to it though, with white sand and clear warm sea. The one thing that let this holiday down was the apartment. While mainly clean, with a decent sized living area, newish kitchen cupboards and all you needed for food prep, it was in dire need of refurbishment. The two tiny bathrooms were grim. In the main one, you had to sit on the toilet sideways to fit! The glass on the shower was not positioned correctly so on every use the water completely flooded the bathroom, which made it smell. There was black mould all over the silicone and shower head. You could barely get inside the other bathroom and shut the door. There was hot water, but not much. The extractor fans sounded like jet engines when the lights were on - and you couldn’t turn them off, which meant disturbed nights for all. Beds comfy but bedroom doors didn’t shut unless slammed. No surfaces to put things on. The kids didn’t mind as very similar to their grubby student accommodation - however, I expected slightly better."

"Cala en Porter is a beautiful place to stay in Menorca. The beach is absolutely stunning and also having access to a pool was perfect. The apartment is perfectly sized and furnished, with space to comfortably accommodate 4 adults. Spencer and Lisette's communication was excellent and it was really handy to have a managing agent to contact when we needed. Would highly recommend."
