“Overall, it is a very nice hotel. Like apartment, you have kitchen, bathroom, living room and so on. Not so many choices but good breakfast. It’s not safe in Calama, so it’s a good idea to choose a hotel like this with gate and security. ”

“The room was clean and just about the right size. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the guests in the next room. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast options were good.”

“I have forgotten to take back my passport during checkin. On the next day of checkout I was super panic that I have lost my passport. I searched all my luggages and could not find it. At the end I realized the receiption has kept it. I am UNSURE why they did not return the passport to me to my room. A large part of the bathroom facilities are rusted making it a bit uncomfortable. ”

“I didn’t enjoyed my stay at Modular Express, the only thing I liked was the included breakfast and that is near the airport. Rooms are small and noisy, personal has no customer service attitude, prices are really high in their mini market and meals, and only accept card, no cash. When you go to the cafetería, there are other workers that go too, from mining companies I guess.”

“I'm only able to comment on my personal experience. But, I think some of the other reviews may be unkind. This hotel does what it says on the tin. It felt clean, safe, and provided a comfortable night's sleep. The surrounding area isn't fantastic in my opinion but the hotel itself provided a perfect safe haven. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful and we loved Tata the hotels rescue dog :)”

“This property was near a very cute little town called choo choo. Very well thank you”

“Pascual Andino was one of my favourite spots in San Pedro de Atacama. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of character—an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the desert. The combination of thoughtful design, great music, and a laid-back vibe created a truly enjoyable experience. Whether for a drink, a meal, or simply a quiet moment to relax, it is a place that captures the spirit of Atacama beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the……

“The staff was fabulous. They made my stay a 5-star experience. The property was exceptionally clean. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and included made to order items. I had the bad luck of going to San Pedro during one of the few times in which there were cloudy skies and rain. I was quite disappointed. Stargazing was the primary purpose of my trip. The staff was very helpful and suggested other activities for me. They showed genuine concern about making my trip……
