Great house for an extended family vacations

All you need for a vacation with your family. Calm and beautiful place close to so many cultural and sportive activity that everybody will find something to enjoy. Great communication with the owner and the local property manager. Highly recommend.

Great for large families, too.

We had 8 adults and 3 children staying here and never felt like we were crowded. The outdoor amenities were wonderful and we spent a good deal of time on the patio and in the pool. We ate outside on the long dinner table every evening for a big communal meal and used the grill three times.

Beautiful vacation home for the family

Every year, we come here with the family to relax. The house offers plenty of space for the whole family and is equipped with everything we need for cooking. The swimming pool is fantastic, as it is sunlit all day and never in the shade, making the water pleasantly warm in the afternoon and perfect for relaxing. The children love the pool. The sea and the Foz do Arelho promenade are just 8 minutes away from the house, allowing us to visit the beach multiple times a day and enjoy all its aspects.

Wonderful

What a great house. Plenty of space for all 10 of us. Safe for the children as there is now a pool fence. Plenty of crockery, etc in the kitchen and everything spotless. Only 10 minutes from the sea or supermarkets. The pool was great so we added a couple of inflatables. Lovely walks and views nearby. Lots of activities nearby. The garden was very pretty and everything was kept beautifully. A great place for all ages.

Magical family holiday

We have just had a magical holiday at the Quinta da Princesa Barbara. The whole family was there to celebrate my parents’ 80th birthdays and it was perfect. The house is stunning and extremely well appointed. It has everything you could possibly need. We had so much fun in the pool and wonderful evenings on the outdoor terrace eating the amazing barbecues we cooked. I cannot recommend the Quinta enough. We absolutely loved it! Raymond and Maria were so helpful and the bedrooms were all so beautiful and comfortable. The location is brilliant - close to wonderful beaches at Foz and Sai Martinho. Thank you! It was a delight from start to finish!

Haus mit Geschichte

Wunderschönes Haus, mit interessanter Familiengeschichte. Es gab viel zu erfahren und entdecken. Mega Pool und für unsere Familie mit 10 Personen optimale Größe. Ruhige Lage, aber schnell in der Stadt und am Meer. Gute informationen bezüglich Restaurants und Umgebung. Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Haus,aber das ist dem Klima geschuldet. Local tranquilo

Uma boa semana de puro descanso. Local tranquilo e de ar puro. Quartos com bastante espaço e cozinha bem equipada. Varanda grande para um bom churrasco em família e área externa com piscina e jardim excepcional. Praia a 7min carro e hipermercado a 10min. Local excelente para caminhadas em caminhos rurais. Fête 50 ans de mariage

Quinta da Princesa Barbara c'est révélée un lieu magnifique pour notre regroupement familial afin de fêter nos 50 ans de mariage. Maison très bien conçue pour accueillir 13 personnes, avec une belle piscine qui a fait le plaisir des jeunes et des moins jeunes, idéalement située à proximité de la mer et des sites tels Péniche, Nazaré, et à seulement 1h de Lisbonne. Nous avons passés 2 semaines en famille dans cette belle maison .Tout était parfait. La maison est spacieuse ,bien équipée ,rien ne manque. For us... the perfect holiday home

This year we are for the 2nd time guests in this great holiday home. We would like to thank Štěpán for making his house available to us. The property is located just 7 minutes from Foz do Arelho, and can be reached quickly and easily with children. If you need an alternative to the beach, you will find it in the pool. The pool is always on the sunny side and invites you to swim all day long... and is really a lot of fun. The house is superbly equipped... with comfortable mattresses and beds, the kitchen has everything you need to host friends and family. And here, too, no savings were made: the dishes, the glasses, the pots, everything is very beautiful and as good as new. In the living room we could end the cool evenings in the evening or sit relaxed on the terrace. Dear guests, treat "Quinta da Princesa Barabara" well as if it were your own. Because you rarely find such beautiful holiday homes and we want to come back soon... and hope to be guests of Štěpán for a long time to come.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à la quinta. La villa est parfaite pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille. Elle est très bien équipée, confortable, la piscine est très agréable et le jardin très joli. En plus de cela, elle est parfaitement située pour rayonner dans la région : Lisbonne, obidos, nazare..... Raymond vous accueille avec une grande gentillesse. N'hésitez pas une seconde !

Tolles Haus

Sehr schönes, top gepflegtes Haus. Wir waren zu 10 (4 Erwachsene, 4 Teenager und 2 Kinder) und haben eine sehr entspannte Woche in der Quinta verbracht. Die Küche ist sehr gut und mit viel Geschirr ausgestattet, es gab neben den Duschhandtüchern genügend Poolhandtücher, der Pool war angenehm temperiert, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Sehr komfortabel auch die 3 Ensuite-Badezimmer und ein weiteres. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zum Verwalter vor Ort war einfach, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Der Strand Foz de Arelho ist mit dem Auto in 7 Minuten zu erreichen, die schöne Stadt Obidos in 12 Minuten und der Surfstrand bei Peniche in 30 Minuten. Die nächste kleine Stadt, Caldas da Rainha, hat uns mit dem Obstmarkt, den hübschen Geschäftsgassen und dem Park sehr gut gefallen. Kurz: Die Quinta und die Gegend sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Rust en ontspanning in comfortabel huis

Quinta da Princesa Barbara is een mooie, ruime vakantiewoning in een rustige omgeving met veel natuur. Goed uitgerust, met de meeste comfortfaciliteiten en een mooi zwembad. Ruim, overdekt terras, dat bijna de hele dag voldoende schaduw geeft, waardoor het grootste deel van de zomerse dagen zich buiten afspelen. De omgeving is rustig en groen, maar door het ontbreken van een echte dorpskern en bijhorend leven, zoals locale winkel(s), bar(s) of restaurant(s) ben je wel aangewezen op een wagen voor boodschappen en uitgangsleven.

What a wonderful holiday

We were three families with kids 3 to 7 years old. What a wonderful week. Kids loved the pool, wonderful dinners and evenings out on the patio. Nice walk to the beach, for adults only though. Spacious and cool inside. Would visit again!

Mitten im grünen Paradies

Das Haus, die Veranda, der Pool, der Garten, die Lage... uns hat es die Sprache verschlagen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Kinder meinten, dass Schönste sei der tolle Garten gewesen mit dem wundervollen "Nachdenker Weg". Auch der Pool war eine Sensation... denn das Wasser war klar und Badewasser warm. Das Haus ist ein typisches "Portugiesisches Haus", sehr gemütlich und behaglich, beheimatet mit vielen Zimmern (für die große Familie) und mit fast genauso vielen charmanten Badezimmern. Die Lage der Villa ist einfach perfekt denn der Atlantik mit seiner ganzen Kraft und Stärke liegt praktisch um die Ecke... und abends hört man die Brandung und den Wellengang. M. Raymond, die gute Seele und Freund des Hauses hat uns ganz herzlich begrüßt und war immer für uns da. Dafür möchten wir recht herzlich Danke sagen. Auch dafür, dass Štěpán die Villa uns zur Verfügung gestellt hat und uns somit eine wundervolle Urlaubszeit beschert hat. Wir kommen wieder! Familie Weiler & Gomes

Maison d exception

Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir y sejourner une semaine en famille. Avant tout l organisation, la disponibilité des hôtes et le service était remarquablement attentionné et nous remercions Esteban et Raymond. La maison est fidèle aux photos, d un confort exceptionnel, dotée d une très bonne literie et très bien équipée on ne manque vraiment de rien. La situation géographique nous permet en moins d une heure d'être à Lisbonne et en moins de 15min en voiture à la plage ou encore en ville (Caldas da Rainha). Nous remercions encore immensément notre hôte et son ami Raymond ainsi que tout le personnel qui a su être très réactif et a toujours répondu à nos divers questions quasiment instantanément. Nous recommandons à toutes les familles cette maison qui est d un excellent rapport qualité prix.
