「Great place and this room for solo travel」

「 Room was clean but cramped and one wall was was unpainted plywood (just unfinished not a style choice!) Breakfast supplies in room. Fridge, kettle,toaster but nowhere to sit to eat Shower barely worked Hairdryer blew but no heat Looks very neglected from outside. Dead plants in window boxes Was in a good location and had off street parking but glad we were only staying one night. Would not return or recommend to anyone. 」

「Lovely old historic Inn. Rooms traditionally furnished and had some nice welcoming touches. Bar was very cozy. Staff very welcoming. Breakfast freshly cooked. No lift but staff kindly helped us to the top floor with our bags. Our daughter stayed in a ground floor garden room overlooking the beer garden which was also very nicely furnished. Menu looked great but we ate in the Indian restaurant directly opposite which was also excellent. Will stay here again when passing through.」

「The room was spacious and clean, the staff were helpful and the facilities generally good. However, we hardly got any sleep because of noise. We could hear the people in the next room and one was snoring. A delivery lorry made the room shake at one point at around 4. Between 5 and 6am someone got up and clattered around very noisily. 「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa..
