「We had an excellent overall experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. I especially want to highlight the amazing customer service we received at the front desk on 02/28 around 9pm. The young lady who helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. 「The room was clean, but very dated and worn. They advertise a pool, which is outdoors, and is not in service as it is filled with a green mossy mess. On the upside, I had the place nearly to myself, and there wasn’t a lot of noise from the property, but you can definitely hear the nearby speedway in the room. I did have a strong smell of smoke from an adjoining room one day during my stay. The staff was pleasant.」

「I do not recommend this hotel. Cons: - Not a good value (I paid $120 a night) - No proper maintenance is done. For our room, the shower head was held by a wire, the circuit breaker tripped multiple times, including at night, the outer window was broken, and the wall was poorly patched... - The online lobby picture looks nothing like the actual sad lobby. Pros: - Clean - Easy parking, central to the hikes we wanted to do. For $20 more elsewhere, you can get a nice place with a view, with...

「Staff was great. The cabin was terrible. The shower head did not work. The staircase was almost impossible the get up and down from the loft unless you were a skinny 10 year old. The parking is very tight. The last night we were there it was 0 degrees and the heater stopped working. I have stayed in numerous hotels there in Blowing Rock and this was the worst.」

「Room was filthy from the walls to the bathroom shower, bed blanket had a cigarette burn on it, toilet was tippy, coffee maker was dirty inside with hair in it and a rusted pot. Dead bugs on the floor along with a full size fridge with rust spots all over the front. Did not match the photos on web. The outside of property was well kept?!」
