“Quim and Emma could not have been more friendly, welcoming and hospitable, from the off we felt comfortable and at home. The villa, which is in a quiet neighbourhood and has spectacular views of the sea and village, is beautiful, spacious and clean with everything one needs for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. “Wir haben 2 Wochen das tolle Haus mit der einzigartigen Aussicht aufs Meer genossen. Alle positiven Bewertungen können wir bestätigen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles blitzblank sauber und Duarte und Vanessa sind ausgesprochen sympathische Vermieter. “It is a beautiful hotel, whereas it is really dark inside, also in the room (except of course when artificial light is switched on). Staff in general was not super friendly, with the exception of reception and the lady making the eggs. It was a clean hotel with high safety, wifi was fast it has a taste of luxury and a high service level. I didnt like the breakfast after 10 am as it looked super messy at around that time. “Calheta Beach Resort is a simple yet lovely beach property. Some reviews say ‘dated’, but I think that’s the charm of the place. Food was good, not great, but service was fantastic all across the board. Easy to get to and easy to take day trips to Porto Moniz and Funchal. I would recommend Calheta Beach. ”
