“Hugo and his team are very welcoming and helpful before and on arrival. The view is wonderful at all times of the day and the accommodation perfect for our party of seven. We hired cars for the duration, a must to enjoy what Madeira has to offer. We very much enjoyed the local village and various spots along this southern coast line. Calheta beach offers an array of restaurants and a supermarket close by. A very chilled and enjoyable holiday on this sunny side of the island.”

The villa, which is in a quiet neighbourhood and has spectacular views of the sea and village, is beautiful, spacious and clean with everything one needs for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. “Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in Celinas Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Abends hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Lichtermeer der Stadt. Die Lage ist optimal für Wanderungen. Die Kommunikation verlief super.”

“Wir haben 11 Tage in Madalenas Haus verbracht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war gross (wir waren nur zu zweit), sehr sauber und bequem. Das Beste daran - der wirklich große Balkon mit Meerblick. Wir haben unser Frühstück draußen immer sehr genossen. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns auch, dass jeden Tag morgens ein Auto mit frischen Brötchen vorbei kommt! Madalena ist super nett, extrem hilfsbeteit und tut alles, damit sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Wir haben uns mit ihr oft unterhalten……

“Calheta Beach Resort is a simple yet lovely beach property. Some reviews say ‘dated’, but I think that’s the charm of the place. Food was good, not great, but service was fantastic all across the board. Easy to get to and easy to take day trips to Porto Moniz and Funchal. I would recommend Calheta Beach. ”
