Too remote hard to get to cute cabin!
Needed tender loving care— grass needed mowing, spiders and webs all on the porches ( we swept them down)— porches dirty as were the chairs— had to clean before using— musty smelling inside but clean and very attractive. Very comfortable for 2 people could sleep many— the set up is great— peaceful, scenery beautiful secluded, little town cute.

Stay in Calico Rock
Great place and oh so beautiful and peaceful. I would not recommend children left outside unattended, The bank to the river is steep and if anyone including an adult fell in the river they would easily be swept away. We sat out side on back porch every night to the most peaceful sunsets. And the town of Calico Rock is so charming. My only suggestion...the inside of the property was very clean and well kept however both porches needed some serious cleaning,

Perfect for couple or small family or frinds getaway. Great view with rolling fog in the morning over beautiful river. Quiet but close to town. Fishing guide service at your finger tip. Furniture and bed comfortable.

Extremely Relaxing and Clean
Had a beautiful first day and then the rain came. Karen is a great communicator. She stayed on top of the dam levels and seriously looked out for us. Thanks again for a great time. We will be back rain or shine!!

Beautiful location. Beautiful cabin. My only feedback is the bank on the River is too steep to fish right off the bank. Some kind of dock or platform would have been cool so we could fish right at the property

Beautiful cabin nestled in a quaint spot off the river. We enjoyed our stay very much in this semi-private location with gated entrance. We always take extra pots/pans and outdoor chairs, but cabin was well decorated and amply supplied for anyone staying a few days. Thanks Karen!

River Keeps Movin On
Picture this, 4 advanced matures sitting on the porch watching the river go by. Wine in hand, family and friends close by and temperature in the low 80. It just doesn't get much better than that. Highlite of stay was the daily train whse engineer tooted that horn for us.

Secluded and beautiful
We loved our stay. The cabin was a bit dusty. Seems like housecleaning skipped a few steps. But overall it was a nice cabin with beautiful views.

Nice view. Saw eagles from back deck. comfortable beds. Pans to cook with have seen better days take your own. Getting in and out of gate pain but I understand why it’s needed. Overall nice.

A great family get away!
Hubby, myself, my sister , niece and nephew. Spent part of Spring Break here. It was so much fun. (Would have been even better if Mother Nature wasn’t bio-polar!!!) it was too cool to fish, but we had plan B. Played lots of games and and visiting time.

Great experience
The cabin is overlooking the White River, while you can not access the cabin from the property, just a short drive or walk there is water access and boat ramp. Cabin was well furnished, clean, and owner gave excellent directions and communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Exactly What We Were Looking For!

Excellent Place to stay in Calico Rock
Had a very awesome stay in Calico Rock. If you are wanting a little peace and to be with God’s beauty this is the place to visit. Excellent rivers edge scenic view of the White River where the trout are abundant. The property was clean and spacious with a fire pit for those campfire s’mores. Plenty of deck to sit back and chat with family.

Great weekend get away
The cabin was perfect for our weekend get away with friends! We used the grill and there was a nice fire pit available for use also. Everything was really clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook our meals, and the beds were nice and comfy. The checkin was quick and easy and we were sent great directions right to the back door. The owner also helped with information beforehand for a fishing guide and on choices of restaurants for an evening out. This was a great cabin and we would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend it to others!
