「Very few times will you have the opportunity to stay in a hotel property that's 500+ years old. The building and grounds are beautiful, the bar and restaurant are very good, and the staff is fantastic. The rooms are rudimentary in keeping with the colonial decor. You are essentially staying in a 500 year old structure, after all. But they are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are late 80s/early 90s style luxury, but well maintained and spotless. 」

「My stay at the Kimpton was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The property is really beautiful and located in a perfect area. I really enjoyed the dining options and pool area. My room was spectacular although the view from the balcony wasn’t great. I would definitely recommend this hotel. 」

「I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. The staff here are very nice. I stayed in the room...

「Fixie Lofts is in the heart of the National District and is within walking distance to almost everything from grocery stores to pharmacies. Restaurants and shopping are all within 250m from the unit The unit is nicely outfitted to provide comfort, including running hot water, which is a luxury which is not normally afforded at most BnB’s in the Dominican Republic. If you want peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Music on the streets play well into the night. This adds to the charm...
