"Beautiful hotel with amazing potential, but unfortunately the food and restaurant experience really hurt the stay for us.
The rooms are modern, extremely spacious, and very clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the pools are large enough to feel relaxing and private, and the beach is super close with golf carts constantly available.
However, the food was honestly some of the worst we’ve ever had at a hotel. We’re not picky eaters at all, but there were multiple things we literally could not eat. As Dominicans, it’s disappointing thinking tourists may leave believing our food is bad when our country actually has amazing cuisine. It honestly felt like the hotel prioritized cutting costs over providing a quality dining experience. We’re not expecting elite gourmet cuisine at an all inclusive, but at the very least the food should be enjoyable and consistently edible.
The staff around the property were very nice and helpful, but unfortunately most of the restaurant and buffet staff were rude and unwelcoming. We also didn’t love how persistently packages and “opportunities” were being sold by concierge, to the point where it felt uncomfortable.
Overall, the property itself is gorgeous and we still enjoyed many aspects of our stay, but the food and restaurant experience would keep us from returning."
