“Excellent staff and accommodations. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was fully furnished (beautifully) with enough seating for my large family to come and visit us comfortably for hours. This is the second time we’ve stayed in the suite and will do that again when we go back to Oak Harbor, WA.”

“All and all it was clean and put together nice I’m not used to having to ask for a hair dryer thought that was pretty standard, but they delivered it when asked. Vacuuming could have been more through ( this is coming from a former cleaning lady.) ”

“The place in general was quiet. The morning breakfast was very good. The kitchen staff, however, should realize that chopping ice for ice bag prep, should’ve been done before the start of breakfast or after. They chopped ice from the ice maker with a metal scoop, bagged ice and talked loudly the entire time we ate breakfast. It was unbelievably annoying. The other patrons eyes & body responses were the same. ”

“The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom……

“What a charming inn on some of the most spectacular private coastline in the Pacific Northwest. We loved our spot, feet up on our own private balcony watching Blue Heron, Bald Eages, etc. and boats going by, wandering down the path to the pebble beach below, picking blackberries... Idyllic. Our innkeeper, Charlene was so accommodating, SO hardworking. She was constantly cleaning, prepping, on the go, and yet took all the time in the world to chat with us about the Inn, local attractions,……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans”
