"Outside pool and indoor jacuzzi pool were great. The air con worked really well -it got up to 41 degrees when we visited so this was important. The property is a good size and has all the things you need. Only thing is that it is looking a bit tired in places and could do with an uplift in some areas. Host was very friendly."

14. Historic patrician country house with exceptional location
Historic patrician country house with exceptional locationCarmona
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (52 reviews)
"A group of 14 had a fantastic stay at the country house. Spacious communal areas. Carmen the housekeeper is a brilliant cook so we ended up asking her to cook for 6 of our 7 nights! Her repertoire is wide, varied and healthy and better than the local restaurants. We would consider going back just for her cooking. All the bedrooms had great character and lovely bedding. We'd thoroughly recommend this house for a large group."

"The people at Ruralidays were very responsive and friendly; it was very pleasant and reassuring to prepare the housing process with them remotely. Thank you to Debora and her colleagues.
And of course, a huge thank you for Sebastian's beautiful and comfortable home, where we felt very at home as a family.
All the best to everyone!
