Lone Pine cabin sleeps 4

Lone Pine is located in the wooded rolling hills located in Campton giving you the feeling of seclusion while still having all the wanted conveniences like gas stations, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby.

Lone Pine is also conveniently located near Natural Bridge State Park, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Underground Kayaking, Putt Putt Golf, Paddle Boarding, Zip Lines, Hiking, Sky Lift, Hollerwood Off Road Park, multiple restaurants and more !

It has a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, living room has a gas fireplace, dining room, small loft, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, loft has a queen mattress, 2 - full baths, washer / dryer, fiber optic internet, 2 - flat screen tv’s, dish network with 120 plus channels, and multi zone heating and air conditioning.

The outside offers a charcoal grill, a fire pit with large natural rocks for seating, a full walk around porch, the front porch is covered with 2 porch rockers, a dining table and chairs, The back porch is covered with a Hot tub and 4 additional porch rockers.

Enjoy have your morning cup of coffee while relaxing in a rocking chair on the front porch while listening to the birds, In the evening relax at the Fire Pit on the large rocks and watch the burning fire, or after a long day of hiking sitting in the hot tub, plus you can take a short stroll ( 2 minute walk ) to the pond and sit on the covered dock and watch the water ripple, there are so many ways to relax at Lone Pine !

If you're feeling energetic, take a walk on over 4 miles of hiking trails.

If you want to see wild life then this is a good choice visitors regularly see deer and turkey at this cabin.

This cabin has easy access with a two wheel drive car and ample parking plus a concrete area great for motorcycles.

The coffee maker is a Keurig. Bring your favorite pods!

The cabin accepts one small non-shedding dog (less than 10 pounds.) No pets are allowed to be unattended in the cabin unless crated.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

A cute little house in the country. It could have been just a little more private but overall the house was nice. No traffic. It was away from town which didnt bother us. We would stay there again. It is close to all the sites to see around The Red.

Perfect location for our stay

Nice private cabin yet close to all conveniences. Kids loved the loft. Deck and hot tub were perfect after a day of hiking. Close restaurants were fantastic and very affordable. The master bed could use to be replaced, there was a large sag which was a bit uncomfortable but other than that perfect stay.

Red river gorge trip

Lovely cabin off the beaten path. Well maintained and quaint. Not a huge fan of animal heads on the wall, but it is part of the decor. Was perfect for a long weekend getaway to regroup. Short distance drive to hiking.

Disappointed

There was dirt and debris in the pillows. Stains on the back of half of the pillows. The downstairs bed bows in the middle. The first night my husband I slept in the bed together. Second night be slept apart due to the bowing mattress. Many surfaces through the house was dusty and dirty. The hot tub was to hot because they didn’t add chlorine to it. No trash receptacle for trash outside so we would need to go out of our way to go back to the check in office to dispose of the trash.Not sure what housekeeping does because your expected to do most of the work at check out and get charged a cleaning fee. The internet is horrible at best.

My husband and i stayed for a weekend. The cabin was beautiful, great property, spotless. No complaints at all just dont book through vrbo its way cheaper to go through the actual rental people.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful view

This cabin is beautiful inside and outside. The front porch in the morning while drinking coffee is perfection. The firepit was very nice to use in the evening, the grill was a very nice added touch. The hot tub was wonderful in the evenings, along with the pond filled with fish to watch and the covered dock with lighting. My husband and I enjoyed this property and will be coming back! Great location to everything, grocery stores and general stores very close. Cabin had everything we needed to cook. We met the property owner we met and he was great!

The only reason it isn’t a 5 star review is because of small, personal preferences that I think wouldn’t bother some at all like the how comfortable the toilet seat was, the height of the tv vs how low the cough was etc. everything for the most part was perfect and as described! Beautiful, but really close to the main highway and yet secluded! Clean and the property management company were super helpful and friendly! Even despite the small things that could be improved on, would definitely stay again!

Nice Property

Extremely nice & cozy cabin! The property is amazing! It is located just off the main road in Campton, but sits far enough back for privacy. My morning coffee was consumed in the hot tub. The hot tub is not under a covered porch, so in summer, it is best to utilize in early morning or evenings, as the sun is massive on the back deck during the day. The dock was fabulous! We enjoyed it in the evenings. We brought an additional fire pit to use while at the dock. It is a short walk from the cabin. Enjoyed feeding the fish! We didn’t utilize the loft with the 2 game chairs, but we did climb the steps to look at it. There was a Yoohoo chocolate milk bottle on the floor next to one of the chairs, so it’s obvious housekeeping doesn’t venture up there. Also, I was a little worried about the towel & wash cloth situation since there was only 1 in the master bath. However, when doing laundry, I found the others, plus a set of sheets, in the dryer. So, check there if you feel there aren’t enough! The bed was comfortable. I would suggest a couple more pillows & extra blanket. I’m never comfortable using the bedspread or pillows with pillow shams, as I’m not sure they are washed after every guest. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall, a wonderful cabin & stay!

Great cabin

We loved this property, although the weather didn't exactly cooperate with us for our plans. Hot tub was great, the fire pit was awesome, the pond was probably my favorite part. The one thing that could probably be improved would be the bed. This is more personal preference, but the mattress was was too soft in the middle. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Comfy Cozy Cabin

Cabin and surroundings were exactly what we expected! A tad too close to the highway, heard some traffic, but honestly not too bad! Nice walking area, and the gazebo/sitting area at pond was very relaxing!! Kitchen and supplies made it very easy to cook a nice meal! Enjoyed coffee on porch in rocking chairs. The hot tub was very nice, not all jets working, but still very nice! If we had one complaint it would be the owner desperately needs to purchase a new mattress! We sleep on our sides and we immediately rolled right to the middle due mattress being broken down. Cabin very clean, smart tv would have been nice so we could accessed Netflix or Hulu. Does have Dish Network so we didn’t go without, just an observation.

Relaxing stay

We had freezing rain and snow the weekend we stayed. It gave us an opportunity to explore the property and seen many deer aand coyote and Bobcat feeding on a deer carcass in the driveway. Beautiful property and relaxing would stay again
