Perfect Cancun Vacation spot

The Condo was perfect! We loved the location, near many great restaurants and the beach and pool were awesome. Just steps from one to the other! The view from the Condo was breathtaking! It was a lovely vacation home. Staff were all friendly and we always felt safe.

Awesome Stay

Easy check-in and check-out process, secure premises, hosts are in constant communication and available if you have questions/concerns. Has direct access to the beach and 3 pools to choose from. Walking distance to La Isla shops and a myriad of restaurants. Overall a great place to stay!

Nice location. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Nice patio with view of the beach and ocean. Clean, comfortable. Adequate space. Host replied to messages immediately. Would definitely use this unit again

Cancun Efficient Condo

The condo is clean, efficient, and convenient. Nice community on the beach with shops and services nearby. The condo has 2 pools and deck chairs available. The sunrise and moonrise are beautiful from the balcony.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay , especially the location and ease of rental. The owners were very responsive to all our inquiry’s and the condo was just as described. The only thing that could of made our stay better would be the availability of cleaning products , soap , paper items. But there is a very convenient grocery across the street.

Great location

Layout of condo is weird. There it's no bathroom upstairs. The beautiful ocean and beach would have been better without having to see the roof of the unit in front. Loved having a bar by the pool.

No beverages at the pool

It was clearly noted in the instructions but I missed it. Very disappointed, but we still had a great time. Kitchen was tight, but everything was clean and worked. The view was over a rooftop, but stillEnjoyable! Great communication from hosts and loved the location, close to shopping and great restaurants

Great for an economy room

The price was great for the location and being steps from the beach. Within walking distance of a Soriano and a short drive to night life. The water turned off for us twice due to facility maintenance which thankfully was not an issue for us. I liked the upstairs kitchen area which had all our basic needs to cook and the host was great with communication. I would recommend to anyone looking to travel on a budget that wants a beach vacation.

Hotel zone condo

Overall the location and condo was as advertised. The mall across the street had a great grocery store but basically was vacant otherwise. Check in process was not great, security didn’t speak English and didn’t have up to date records of travellers. Have to get to the pool very early or you won’t get a lounge chair. Condo itself was fine - the A/C was not adjustable so it was quite cold and loud. Would have been nice if the upstairs bedroom has a tv/Netflix as well.

Underpriced

Great value. Spotless. Location is great with the mall and supermarket across the street and the beach a couple floors below the balcony. The $1 bus across is a block away and took us any time we felt like exploring. Fantastic beach. Pools were very nice and the security guards monitored everything there. We left our phones/tablets under our towels while we played in the water. This sturdy concrete construction means you'll not hear others. The configuration of the balcony means you wake up and think you are the only people staying in paradise. We cooked breakfasts for ourselves and the kitchen was equipped well. AC was very effective and cooled quickly (outside daytime temps in the 80s). The communication with the hosts was extremely responsive and we were provided suggestions for how to make the experience in Cancun excellent before we arrived. Great value. We are a couple and our adult daughter surprised us by joining us and she liked having her own bedroom with toilet/sink. We were really comfortable there and we would be happy to stay there again. As we left for the airport, we remarked that we were surprised the price wasn't higher, especially with 2BR 1.5 baths.

Great location and lots of space.

We stayed here in March 2024. Check in was just that. The security checked your paperwork and opened the gate. From there, it was up to us to find the unit which was not easy. The location of the Villas was great. Grocery store in the mall across the street. It has all the essentials to get you started. Note, the condo has no condiments, salt, pepper, sugar, plastic wrap or containers for leftovers. The condo is located on the beach in the Hotel Zone as advertised. It's only a few minute bus ride to the busy, party area and market. The R1 city bus is only a block away and very easy to use. Only cost 12 pesos and goes up and down the entire hotel zone. The R2 takes you to Walmart and downtown but we only did that once since the cheap Select grocery store and good, cheap restaurants are just past the Coco Bongo stop. The beach was nice, not too busy but we were there when the waves were fierce so the swimming was exhausting and dangerous for kids or novice swimmers. The pools were cool and relaxing. 3 to choose from. The condo was clean but the decor and furniture is very dated and needs to be upgraded. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was in good working order. We spent time each morning and evening on the patio which over looks the other townhouses roof tops but you can still see the ocean from the patio. Overall, this was a good stay for the price and location if you are not going to spend much time in the condo itself.

FAMILY VACATION

PLACE WAS FINE. I WISH THERE WAS A RESTROOM UPSTAIRS AND EXTRA SHOWER. SWIMMING POOL AND BEACH NEAR BY WAS GREAT. MAYBE IN THE COMING YEARS IF IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO RENT A PLACE FROM YOU WITH THE RESTROOM UPSTAIRS AND SHOWER. THANK YOU!

Villas Marlin stay

First, the star rating system on the VRBO website was not working properly on my computer, so don't use the star ratings for this review. Overall it was good. Villas Marlin is a quiet condo unit right in the middle of the hotel area of Cancun. We had no issues getting the keys from security with the paperwork Jacky provided. the unit was on the 3rd floor and looks out over the beach. The unit was clean and tidy. The complex is starting to show it's age, but the staff do a good job of keeping it clean. The pools are clean and well kept. We never had to contact Jacky for anything during our stay. Overall It was a good vacation.

Perfect villa for all ages- great location for shopping, best beach in hotel xo w!

My husband and I stayed at this villa for the month of March 2023, and enjoyed ourselves so much. Our hostess, Jacky, could not have been more attentive and went out of her way to make us comfortable and even purchased a baby gate and baby feeding chair , and supplied a nice pack n play, for our 16 month old grandson who came with his parents for a week. The location is ideal…great grocery store across the road, in a nice mall with all the shops you’ll need. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk and you can be at another beautiful mall… or walk.. in minutes…as well as many great restaurants. Also, we couldn’t be more safe, with the hospital across the road and the fire station and police around the corner! Also, there are pharmacies and banks right beside Villas Marlin. The cleaners did an amazing job and there were always many clean, dry towels available . I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that you will love this rental! Thank you Jacky, and also Landy and he cleaning crew! ❤️

We did not get the Condo promised to us the day before they changed the condo we got an older condo with no modern amenities. We had to go by a lighter to light the gas stove to cook. The sheets on the bed were rough. The pillows were hard as a rock and so was the mattress. 2 bathrooms on the bottom floor So Whoever stayed upstairs had to go downstairs every time they needed to go to the bathroom. The condo was set up very strange kitchen and living area was upstairs. Old furniture with covers over them not comfortable at all. You could see from the front door to the outside it was an older door and the wood was splitting. Not comfortable accommodations. Nothing nice about it except the view from small patio.
