“Wir haben das Haus vor Ort exakt wie auf den Bildern gezeigt angetroffen - es ist sehr liebevoll restauriert und aufwendig ausgebaut. Uns hat insbesondere der wunderschöne Pool und die tolle Außenküche gefallen - die Pizza aus dem Holzofen war sensationell! Die Vermieter waren überaus freundlich und jederzeit per WhattsApp für Fragen für uns erreichbar. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt.”

(Thank you Lisa and Luca)....Once we walked in the door it was literally like the two dimensional pics from the listing burst into three dimensions...Everything was exactly as it was advertised. “The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. Care was needed with the upstairs rooms as they got quite hot and we struggled to cool them at night but the beds were excellent and there was a fan in each room. There were also bug……

“We had four wonderful days in this beautiful house in Bagni di Lucca. The apartment was spacious and charming and we lacked nothing. The location is great and the view of the river valley magnificent. The host was very helpful (and quick in responding) in all communication throughout. We warmly recommend this place!”

“Guiglia is a wonderful small town that's centrally located in Emilia Romagna. We are 2 couples that stayed for a week and the location was a centrally located to Bologna, Modena and Parma. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was unique and had a number of architectural touches that made this a memorable stay. it was spacious, has a large yard with a covered pagoda, above ground pool and hot tub. “Es war wunderschön abgelegen, ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Pescia. Ein wunderschönes kleines Bergdorf eine traumhafte Aussicht und einfach soooo viel Natur. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter……

They were always available for anything we needed which is was not too much to be honest. They also have amazingly friendly staff to help. We had lots of fun, enjoyed the pool and hanging out. “Siamo stati qui in tre famiglie con bambini e siamo stati benissimo. Spazi ampi anche dentro casa, proprietari super gentili e disponibili.in estate con l'uso della piscina deve essere ancora meglio! La casa è isolata, i bambini hanno giocato molto anche all'esterno, senza disturbare nessuno. Da lì siamo andati a Lucca, Pisa, zoo di Pistoia (NB i tempi sono lunghi, ci vuole un'oretta di macchina per andare a Lucca e anche di più a Pisa). Unica pecca della casa: abbiamo trovato molte……

“Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, in einem großen Garten mit Pool. Die Hausherrin ist sehr nett und versucht trotz wenig Englisch für das Wohlergehen zu sorgen. Ausflugsziele sind leider swhr weit entfernt. In der Nähe sind allerdings die sehenswerten Städte Lucca und Barga.”

“Elisabetta is een perfecte gastvrouw! Onze aankomst was door omstandigheden pas na 23 uur, ik hield haar op de hoogte via what’s app en ze vond het vooral vervelend voor ons, ze bleef geduldig en vriendelijk en bij aankomst kregen we zelfs wat te drinken aangeboden en werden heel gastvrij onthaald ondanks het late tijdstip. Het huisje was keurig netjes en heel schoon. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken en grote slaapkamer is werkelijk schitterend. Wat in de advertentie niet duidelijk was was dat er……
