Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
a nice place to stay - full of character and close to main attractions. We had the attic room -ok for us but not suited to tall guests or those where a tight, steep and winding staircase would be difficult. Very good breakfast delivered to the door . We would also recommend The Corner House restaurant.

Truly a unique hotel room - the exposed timbers from the 16th century were so amazing! The stairs to the attic room (where we stayed) were uneven and interesting, but not difficult to navigate as long as you are not disabled. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the air conditioning was very appreciated.
