“We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer!
Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season.”

“Staff super helpful. Because I am direction challenged, I had a problem with finding the exact location. GPS was not helpful either. Signs point in general direction but I still needed to ask a few local people.”

“The vista on property was beautiful but the room we booked was suppose to overlook the lake and volcano but we got placed in a room that mainly overlooked the parking lot for the sky adventure park with some views of the lake visible. There were horse flies everywhere and tons of dead flies all over the floor in the room and in the curtains on the bed and in the bathtub. The traffic up to the adventure park was very loud. And there were no amenities on the property. But the lady on site……
