“Cabanas la Pradera was a wonderful experience. The cabins are set out over 14 acres I believe. Within the property there are easy walking trails. The birding within the property is excellent but the cabanas are close to Curri Cancha, Monteverde and so many other locations good for birding, butterflies and restaurants!
The cabins themselves are basic but very comfortable. Melissa and her family make you feel very welcome and are so helpful. I would love to go back. ”

“If you are an outdoor enthusiast enjoying wild nature and camping like experience then this cabin could be a great lodging option for you. However, if your expectation is quality hotel standard accommodation then this property might not suit you. For example, the entire cabin is pretty damp which we didn't feel very comfortable with in our stay. The host Laurie and property manager Raul are great and very helpful. “We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. ”
