「Stopped by this resort in 2007 to walk the Falls Trail, had to comeback & stay. Spent 2 nights for a group of 7 in JULY 2026. We had a Deluxe King Room & the Monarch Lago Villa which has 3 bedrooms. Everyone loved everything. The charm of the property is amazing. Aside from the animal exhibits and trails, we participated in trout fishing, butterfly experience & watching the feeding of the big cats. All those activites are included for overnight guest. 「Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....
