“This place is a dream! Stunning location, right on the shore of the Pacific in beautiful Montezuma. We dined, slept and explored with the rolling ocean waves ever present. Every aspect of this resort, from the staff to the location to the amenities, created a highly memorable trip for my family. There are too many highlights to name them all… all staff was friendly, accommodating and super helpful. Meals were fresh & delicious. Chef even prepared our freshly caught yellow fin tuna two ways for……

“Our stay at Casita Sollevente was incredible, the accommodation was very clean, a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, had two out door pools that were great for relaxing in. The complete staff treated us very well throughout our stay. The food and drinks are very good. The short drive down the hill into Montezuma is easy, though you certainly want a car as it is a steady incline from the town up to the resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!”

“I hosted a breathwork facilitator retreat at this property, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The serene surroundings, thoughtfully designed accommodations, and peaceful atmosphere provided the ideal setting for connection and growth. Our group of 12 relied on Coltin and his wife's expert local recommendations, which made our stay even more memorable. The boat trip to Pink Sand Island and whale watching were incredible highlights, and the private chef he arranged for us nourished us……

“A group of my friends and I stay here for our own mini retreat! It was perfect, with the big grassy area was nice to have to connect with nature each morning, and to stay above looking at the ocean. Close to town but not in the middle of the business! Beautiful stay, will be back! ”

“This was one of our favourite places in all of Costa Rica to stay and I can't recommend it enough. Coltin is a fabulous host who is very responsive and knowledgeable about the local area but also keeps your privacy. The house is stunning and has the best views for sunset and relaxing and it's super convenient for going anywhere in town when you actually can leave the property though it's hard to do! I can't say enough about this place and don't have anything negative to say, which is rare for me……

“We were lucky to stumble across Casas Kismet since they generate most of their business by hosting group retreats & only occasionally open up individual units for rent. That means minimal reviews were available through the normal channels at the time of our booking, but we took a chance anyway given the last minute nature of our plans. I'm pleased to say that our stay at Casas Kismet and the surrounding Nosara area was a delight for our family (inc. 2 teenage daughters). The suite was……

“This was a super nice place up a STEEP road which requires 4x4. My only suggestion is to be sure that people renting this know the need for a good 4x4. It is a lovely place with a super nice, friendly staff.”
