“The location of of the property was perfect. It is located next to a bus stop so it was easy to get to the grocery store, restaurants, and the train station/ nearby gondola. The property had all the basic necessities one could need in a vacation rental. I did experience two issues regarding no hot water one of the nights and temp inside the property was a little too warm for me and I was unable to change it. When I addressed it with the owner after our stay, she checked into it and found no……

“Amazing view and enjoyable deck. On the edge of town, so a little bit of a walk from the train station, but allows for a quieter location. The accommodations are basic -- a low, uncomfortable bed, flat pillows, one throw. Kitchen had no consumable supplies (other than salt & pepper): no paper towels, plastic wrap or foil. Has a corporate rather than homey-touches feel. Internet is very slow and fails regularly -- had to power cycle router at least once every day. Interhome does NOT use……

“Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, geräumig und an einem guten Standort gelegen. Leider wurde in der Beschreibung ein Pool erwähnt, vor Ort stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass damit das kostenpflichtige Hallenbad der Gemeinde gemeint war. Das fanden wir etwas irreführend und sehr schade! In der Küche fehlten einige wichtige Utensilien, beispielsweise eine grosse Bratpfanne und mehr Schöpfbesteck. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre es hilfreich, die Art der Kaffeemaschine in der Beschreibung anzugeben.……

“We booked a 3-night stay at this property through Expedia, but it was an absolute nightmare from the moment we arrived. The house was severely infested with over a thousand flies, covering my kids' faces and hands within minutes and making them sick. When we contacted the host, they dismissively claimed bugs are "common in the mountains"—an excuse I've never heard in all my years of mountain travel. To make matters worse, the beds had unclean sheets, ancient and sagging 15-year-old mattresses,……

“This place is adequate, but very basic. If you are there just to hike and then come back and sleep, it is ok. It was reasonably close to the train station, but there is a section you have to walk along a busy road. It would be better if you are traveling by car. Drains in the sink and shower are slow. It was very hot when we were there and it was difficult to leave windows open for fresh air because of the flies. May not be an issue if you come in cooler weather.”

“Beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view! Traveled with friends and we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony each morning before exploring. Close walking to everything in town including restaurants, shops, Brienz Sea, Steam train ride to mountain top, railway station and much more. Also close driving distance to many attractions and scenery. Great memories!Host Daniel was great! Thank you!”
