The woman who appears to run/manage the place was insistent that we did not pay even after showing the confirmation email and booking page from Hotels.com. Our flight was early so we didn't get to have the breakfast but they were setting up for it when we left...so that happens (but I wouldn't count in internet when you're there). Top Cantón Poás Hotel Reviews

Gran Hotel Costa Rica, Curio Collection by Hilton

Gran Hotel Costa Rica, Curio Collection by Hilton

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful room with friendly and wonderful staff. The restaurant in the hotel was pricey but the food was amazing. Location is in a busy area but there’s lots to do all in walking distance. Also There’s nowhere to park, you can only do valet which is just a one-time payment of $28 for your whole stay."
