“Perfect location! We loved staying at Villa Arthur. The house is very close to town, which makes it very convenient when going out to dinner. It is very close to many of the activities in La Fortuna. The house is only six minutes from the waterfall and short drive to other attractions. We were mostly on the go and not at the house very long, but did enjoy the outdoor area. Our last night we ordered takeout pizza so we could enjoy the outdoor area by the pool. “Great view from the balcony. House was close to town. Google maps took us to a different location and took us a while to find it. The house was clean and well equipped. We appreciated Evelyn’s help in arranging a guide for us. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Fantastic and would love to stay again,- Pool and hot tub area was spectacular. - The bedroom with multiples beds is bigger and better than the pictures show. They really should update that room picture online. It has two full beds on one wall , a pull out sofa on a wall, a Murphy bed on another wall and then two huge bunk beds with stairs that connect them. Twins on top and with queens on bottom. It has Massive ceiling and nice full bathroom.- master has huge sitting area with cool massage……

“Staying in this VRBO was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed at!! The home itself overlooks Lake Arenal, and is surrounded by a tropical rain forest. Each morning two amazing toucans would be in the tree right beside the balcony. We watched them eat, and we were able to get beautiful pictures of them. Many other birds and critters also were sighted from the balcony. The house itself is a work of art built over 25 years by the owner himself. Each morning we feasted on a fabulous full……

“The villa was lovely and the views were beautiful. I gave it a lower rating because of the lack of accuracy on how remote it was. On Expedia, it claimed it was a 3 minute drive from mistico hanging bridge park, 5 minutes from the wellness park and so on. However, there was nothing even remotely close within 30 minutes. Also, there was no mention that breakfast or dinner was to be pre-ordered. We arrived thinking we would be able to have dinner but the restaurant was closed. I asked about……

“Beautiful property and very charming. This was about 15-20 mins away from the pickup zone for excursions just to keep in mind. We saw beautiful birds and geckos on the property. We would definitely stay here again!!”

“Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! ”

“Great stay with an excellent panoramic view of Lake Arenal, especially at sunset. The villa was clean, comfortable, and the AC kept the space very comfortable. The setting was quiet and relaxing, and the location worked well for exploring the area. Overall, a beautiful place to stay for a few days.
