「Brilliant and very attentive staff 」

「location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.」

Area is probably a little more mixed - the hotel themselves don’t recommend walking on the street alone after dark. We just took uber point to point and we were fine. We would always see hotel staff/security so it felt safe enough. One small complaint - we stayed on 5th floor which is right underneath the rooftop bar and could hear some stomping. 「Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...
