A cosy, characturful, and soulful home away from home. Loved our stay here, from the delicious breakfast to the charming rooms, every detail was perfect. Would highly recommend if visiting Cape Town.

We love everything about The Dorp, The staff are all amazing, warm and welcoming. The property, the gardens, the rooftop and the rooms are all gorgeous and we can’t wait to come back. It felt like our home away from home in Cape Town.

Amazing hotel and staff. only 2 downsides are that it is high up on a hill, so not very walkable from the rest of Cape Town. Secondly, they do not have a liquor license, and thus are unable to seel alcohol on the property. Would still recommend as a stay.

The hotel was wonderfully located in Bo Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, with a great view over the city. The hotel was of a high standard, with large rooms with lots of characters, clean and comfortable. The hotel had an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner options and the breakfast included in the room rate was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Cape Town.

We had an amazing 5-day stay. From the moment we arrived until we left, we were well taken care of by the staff. Friendly, caring and approachable. The rooms are all differently decorated in an eclectic and comfortable style. The dining room is spacious. The roof overlooks all of Cape Town. It’s such a treat to be here that you almost want to keep it a personal secret.

The view of the mountains was spectacular. The staff was friendly and attentive, welcoming you from the moment you open the front door. They saw to our every need, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the grounds and rooms were immaculate. Fantastic stay, didn’t want to leave.

Great stay and amazing views! We were in a galley suite ”veranda” that had breathtaking views of the table mountain and devil’s peak. Bo Kaap is nice to walk through and in 10 minutes we were in the center of restaurant actions outside of the Waterfront.
