A treat in the winelands

Great stay. Exquisite property. Just sorry I couldnt stay longer. Everything exceptional except the wait for coffee in the morning, a good 30 min wait which needs serious improvement but otherwise nothing to fault. Great staff. Beautiful calm relaxing space.

Beautiful and well maintained property and grounds. The gardens are beautifully planted and a pleasure to walk around. The spa and swimming pool facilities are well appointed; and outdoor lounging and dining areas are great for enjoying the surrounding mountains and fine weather. Stefan’s fine dining restaurant tasting menu was interesting and well executed and staff all knowledgable and friendly. Hope to return! Great spot.

andra gången blir inte sista gången på Erinvale

allt mycket bra, avslappnad, vi åt både i Stefan's fine dining och Magnolia vanlig restaurang, fantastisk mat och service.liksom frukosten! Närheten till den fina golfbanan och två vingårdar (Lourensfourd och Vergelegen) på gångavstånd är också superbra. Helderbergs hiking området bara några minuter med bil. Lite dyrare än en del andra ställen, men man får mycket för det man betalar

This property said "excellent," from my arrival, where I was greeted by a friendly staff and assisted with my luggage - to checkout, which was handled with efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. The staff was exceptional - the room cleaners, restaurant staff, front desk, security and grounds people. Everyone offered assistance, suggestions on where to visit, and staff even created a special drink for me when I had a raspy throat. The environment was peaceful, each area of retreat offering a different experience. If you're looking for a space to wind down, to treat yourself (the nearby spa), to think, to walk - then this is the place.

Awesome stay, friendly staff

Was at the hotel for 4 nights for business. Great service. Great food. Nice places to gather for business discussions. Lovely grounds that are kept 100% prime. Graded my room to the first floor with outdoor sitting area- worth the extra! Staff was super friendly and helpful all day.

Wonderfully friendly staff, amazing location of hotel at the foot of a mountain, the most beautiful gardens, lovely spa and excellent eating options on the Terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent here and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Disappointing

Beautiful place, with a great breakfast and very good service, but shower did not work. The water pressure on the shower was a trickle feed plus you could not adjust the trickle between hot and cold water. It was either boiling hot or ice cold. The technical staff only starts at 7:30 in the morning, which is well after I have left the hotel. Despite reporting the problem I never received any feedback why the shower was not working. It is my perception that the hotel was aware of the problem before I reported the shower not working.

Murky pools

Lovely find, swimming pools a bit murky though. Some staff very friendly and helpful, some a bit aloof. Would however definitely stay again and make it one of my regular hotels when in the area.
