“My friend and I had a very pleasant stay here on our way down the California coast. The room was clean, well stocked with, and the large bed was very comfortable. The balcony view was very nice as well. Highly recommend!”

“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“The view was beautiful and the space itself is quiet with a nice layout. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, and if you are hoping to see one of those cool (not so) little banana slugs, they are around here. We saw at least a half dozen large ones with even more babies. The location is also perfect, with stores and restaurants nearby, 40 minutes from San Jose airport, 20 minutes from Santa Cruz boardwalk and 5 minutes from Roaring Camp and Henry Cowell state park. “We were visiting our daughter who attends UC Santa Cruz and wanted a place not too far from campus. This property was perfect! It was just 20 minutes from the college and wow is it gorgeous! The cottage is warm, welcoming and comfortable. The property is private and secluded, perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors. This place is a true gem.”

“It took a minute to adjust to the small size of the cabin; once we did, it was cozy and comfortable. The outdoor deck is great, with a couch and table, surrounded by huge trees and the sound of a creek bubbling over rocks. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and hot water (that takes a few minutes to heat up). There are several cabins on the property, and doggies are welcome.”

The first night we had an issue with the fire pit and the owner went above and beyond rectifying the problem to make sure we were happy. “We stayed here for a long weekend with our group of 7 adults and 1 infant. We absolutely loved this property, and it was the perfect place for our large group. We would love to come back again in a heartbeat! The three levels of the property worked out great, since our group included multiple families from all across the U.S. Having separation with the three levels for sleeping and also communal places to gather, like the game room and living room, worked out great for our group. “Lovely place to stay and a great location. Perfect for a couple. Only thing to consider changing is the couch. Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the place perfect. Loved the closed in patio. Beautiful bathroom too!”

“We loved this property. We have stayed in hundreds of vrbos and this is one of our favorites. It is beautiful, comfortable and one of the best well stocked places we have stayed. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to so many things to do. We will definitely come back!”

“Lovely large grounds near an amazingly beautiful regional park with redwoods and many diverse microclimates. The bedrooms are small but adequate. The hot tub is a fabulous treat!”

“The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.”

“The house is cute, but needs some updating and a good scrubbing. Location is good - just a few blocks from the beach - but it's on a very busy street, so you'll need earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. It's perfect if you're mostly out and about.”

“Although it turned out to only be two of us, it would have been fine for four. The only disappointment was the local restaurants were on winter hours which means they were open only Wednesdays through Sundays. Other than that, it was perfect for us.”
