Wonderful river front getaway

This was a wonderful getaway from our normal day to day. Close to down, but truly no need to venture anywhere. So relaxing and beautiful on the property. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great getaway from games for our 18 month old to wonderful river front rocking chairs!

Quiet Getaway

The home itself was clean and had plenty of space to move around. The outside area was gorgeous and the view is breathtaking!

Awesome location

Great getaway! Two of us enjoyed almost a week in the cabin and enjoy the foot and a half of snow. Warm cozy inviting! Look forward to coming again. Everything was just as described.

Lovely scenery.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very scenic. The river was fun to fish. Mount Sopris loomed over us and was spectacular. We would stay again if the occasion arose.

Winter Stay

We had an amazing stay at this property - waking up to the view of Sopris and the river was incredible. Skied both days at Snowmass. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

awesome retreat

Lovely spot the sound of the river running was so lovely. Nice to sit out on the rocking chairs and have a glass of wine and a coffee in the morning. Lovely bedding and pillows. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Perfect fall riverside spot

Location on Crystal River was perfect for my visit with family. We enjoyed great fall weather and colors while sitting on patio. I like to cook meals and kitchen was adequate but lacked some basics, like a large salad bowl. Overall, loved my stay!

Chillin in Carbondale

This property is awesome, we were in front of the Crystal Lake River and could see Mt Sopris from our house. It is cozy and the bed sheets smelled so clean and fresh. It was what was needed for a recharging and unplugging vacation. The White House Pizza is amazing. We went there twice!!! Everything was great and we thank you for allowing us to stay and experience Carbondale this way!!!!

Great setting - but had a rodent infestation

If we were rating just the setting it would be a five. Also, the property management team was very nice. The rodent issue was unmanageable-waking us up at night, droppings on the counters and on the floors , breaking into food bags, not to mention how much noise they make when caught on a sticky trap. I lived on a farm my entire life and have never had to deal with anything like this.

Anniversary Stay

My husband and I try to go somewhere new every year for our vacation and this year it was the Rockies area and it happened to fall on our 13th wedding anniversary. The photos really do not do this sweet lil cabin justice. It’s very roomy and has every thing you need to make your own meals if you’d like. The decor and design is *chef’s kiss* so gorgeous. But let’s not forget about the view - my gosh the view! You’ve got the lovely Crystal River flowing, Mount Sopris in perfect view and all from the comfort of the cabin or, as my husband and I preferred, from the lovely wooden rocking chairs. Hosts were wonderful. The stay was a dream. If you’re on the fence, get off it already and book this lovely place!

Not clearly advertising that this premise has no air conditioning is literally not cool. Thank God the nights were cool. Do not stay here if temps do not get below 70. We had temps in the mid 80s and thankfully were gone all day. Some windows do not work/open. The crank is broken. There are no ceiling fans to move air, just one box fan. Also not impressed by asking to be a good help by starting laundry? No…we pay premium price and that is covered in that price. Communication was top notch and the scenery is beautiful. Thankful we had a Jeep as the driveway was a mess.

Loved it overall but checkout was too early

Overall this place was wonderful, clean and in a beautiful location. 10am checkout feels unnecessary, especially with 4pm check in, no ability to check in even a little early and being asked to do hand wash the dishes before checkout. The cleaners were waiting outside our door at 9:40 which just made us feel rushed.

Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Love the Roaring Fork valley and we make it up there at least once a year to enjoy it as much as we can. This was a perfect home base for all of our activities, the only way it could have been better is less rain so the river wasn't so washed out for fishing but such is life! Close to town if you forgot anything or just need to spend some time in Carbondale and close to all the outdoor activity you could want to get into. Hope to stay here again one day.
