On arrival our room had a broken flush on the toilet, excrement on the toilet seat and hairs on the bed. It was 10pm when we arrived. My son was tired and upset. We were moved to another room, thankfully not unpacked. The toilet in this room stank of drains, and then floor under the beds had dirt and crumbs on it. No hand towel, just bath towel. Breakfast was tasty, and beds were comfy,,although my son’s mattress protector had a stain on it, so he removed it. Won’t be staying again.

I understand that the hotel is right next to the M4 motorway but the road noise was pretty intrusive. I could also hear the lift ping when it arrived on my floor (my room was next to the lift). I tried using ear plugs that I often take away in trips but I could still hear the road noise.

This is very much a budget hotel: you can tell because there are no carpets or mats next to the beds to brush your feet off when you climb in bed, you get one towel each (no hand-towel), there is a little plastic stool in front of the small desk but no chairs and no luggage rack for your bag. The shower has gel but no creams, there is a heater but no air-con, the usb ports do not work, you get a single pillow each. On the plus side the beds are clean and there are fancy down-lighters. But our biggest beef was the hot water which failed totally by the morning: no showering. At least we were offered free b/fast as compensation (not English, continental only but not bad). And the staff were friendly and trying their best. Well, it is called a budget hotel....

Spotlessly clean. You’d want to be a dwarf to sit on toilet. It’s a wall mounted toilet which is way too low. Mattress on bed was comfortable Except!!!!! There’s like a rubber sheet or something on it which makes you sweat like mad. BUDGET it definitely is but sorry not for older people. Staff were lovely they did offer to change rooms for us but I was already in the bed.

Really excellent budget hotel The room was clean, comfortable and very well designed. Only two very mild criticism. You had to put the card in "head first" to open the door but a member of staff appeared as if by magic to let me in. Secondly I brought my own kettle because you said you didn't provide one but I'm fact a kettle was there

Friendly welcome. Room was clean but bedside shelves were missing on both beds, had to use plastic stool as a table or the floor. Breakfast was plentiful and all you can eat buffet from a selection of cold choices. Croissant, toast, pastries, toast, jam, cheese ham, yoghurt, cereals and fruit. Car park once again full of commercial vans even though there is a sign that they should use other car park area. I've stayed a few times and it's always the same, arrive after 6 and have to park up near church. Dark and alone with luggage is not good. That's my only gripe and I don't think it will change. Its a budget, basic hotel that serves a purpose for convenience for me. Good comfortable beds. Basic rooms. You get what you pay for. But lovely friendly staff.

Very full car park, lot of contractor vans, I'm a woman on my own and had quite a dark walk to entrance with luggage. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. On entering room there was a strange musty drainage smell. Basic room with plastic stool(very uncomfortable) Bed linen very clean and bed comfortable. However it was quite warm in the room and the aircon had been switched to heating mode as it's October. Being on top of a very busy motorway, it's quite, in fact very noisy to have the window open. So I had an uncomfortable night. I did ask for a fan the following day and it was then no problem. Also I had a problem connecting to WiFi, don't know why maybe it was my fault, just kept saying can't connect. Breakfast continental, ham, cheese, yoghurt,,croissants, plenty there to help yourself. But pay separately. Its convenient for me as family live nearby, it's budget, caters mainly to contractors through the week. I wish it was a bit more comfortable. Staff are really lovely.
