Welcomed by a lovely, helpful lady, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. She took us next door and showed us where our room was, we had a twin room on the top floor, it was immaculately clean, very comfortable beds and bathroom very clean with toiletries supplied. Small private car park to rear of hotel, which is locked 10pm-7am. Bus stop directly outside into the town, or a 10 min walk. Would definitely stay again when in Cardiff.

The hotel is generally well maintained & presentable. The single room was clean, comfortable, well appointed & an adequate size. Unfortunately, it was hot & stuffy with no fan & rather noisy as it faced a busy main road (had to keep the window open due to the hot weather). The location of the hotel is good, about 15 minutes walk from the city centre.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tanes Hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and had all that we needed for 1 nights stay. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Only downside was there was limited parking in the hotel car park but there was plenty of parking on the side streets nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
