“Lovely stay - friendly welcome and comfortable room. Good location with a short walk into town. ”

“No advanced notice that lift wasn't working. No ideal with 2 guest with mobility issues and 3 flights of stairs yo rooms. Also found it odd that there's no secondary glazing for noise in room but yet there was in restataunt. Breakfast was average but bacon hard and overcookec under heat lights. Didn't have the best of choices. All in all very average stay”

“The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...”

“A welcoming and helpful check-in at this stunning Victorian hotel right next to the train station and shops. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cosy with comfy beds, full of amenities. The staff were friendly. Thanks again! (also for storing my mountain bike) :)”

“Parking car was easy. A little bit of a walk into town.Meals in the restaurant were average. Not the best Premier Inn we have stayed at.”

“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t. There was only one towel in the bathroom, so my husband and I had to share as when we realized it was too late to request……

“This was exactly what we were hoping for in this stay. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bathrooms were modern and fully stocked. The inn itself was charming, the staff so accommodating and the food (both dinner and breakfast) were delicious. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay, the property is so quiet at night, the host was very helpful and the breakfast choice was excellent. We only stayed one night on our way to Stornoway but if we're ever this way again we'll stay at Midtown B&B.”
