The historic city of Carlisle is 10 miles away with all your high street shops, restaurants, pubs, cinema and theatre. Romantic river walks can be enjoyed through Rickerby and Bitts Park in Carlisle or along the River Esk in Longtown. There is a choice of 4 golf courses all within a half hours drive.

As the name suggests, Beckside Cottage is on the banks of Carwinley Beck and offers luxurious accommodation for 2. Being all on the ground floor and filled with character the cottage has oil central heating and comprises: Open plan living area full of character with beams and stone archway to the kitchen/diner. Lounge with TV, sandstone feature fireplace with electric fire and patio doors leading to the private patio with seating overlooking the beck. Kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, central island with breakfast bar and dining table.
