Tucked away in the northern corner of Cumbria close to the Scottish Border and Gretna Green, famous for eloping couples getting married over the anvil, you will find the hamlet of Netherby, 5 miles north east of Longtown. Romantic river walks can be enjoyed through Rickerby and Bitts Park in Carlisle or along the River Esk in Longtown. There is a choice of 4 golf courses all within a half hours drive.
