Disappointing hotel

Velux Windows with not fully fonctioning shutters, no view, no wifi nor cellular network in the rooms, TV set not properly working neither. Limited water pressure. Overpriced !!!

È un Albergo unico nel suo genere. L' antica dimora padronale è stata ristrutturata per accogliere le persone in un clima piacevole e familiare. La vista dalla camera è incredibile. Tutto è a pochi passi la macchina non serve se non per le escursioni fuori paese. Buona e variegata la colazione con prodotti locali. Giardino interno piacevole per prendere il sole e rilassarsi. Una buona tappa da rifare a breve.

Un hotel romantico, un salto nella storia, col fascino di un'architettura senza tempo, il personale molto professionale, ma al contempo cordiale e familiare. La sua posizione invidiavile affacciata sul porto, a due passi dal centro. Al mattino ti affacci a veder nascere il sole, cullati dal cinguettio delle rondini. La struttura abbisognerebbe di una rinfrescata, ma noi lo abbiamo amato, anche con le sue imperfezioni. La pulizia è comunque garantita.

Bella struttura che avrebbe però assoluto bisogno di una obbligatoria e seria manutenzione a partire dalla modestia dell’arredamento delle stanze: in quella a me riservata, tra le altre carenze, spiccava un mini televisore (piazzato sopra il frigo) con nessuna connessione internet, fino alla desolante obsolescenza dei servizi: nel mio bagno la posizione del bidet lo rendeva praticamente inaccessibile. Che peccato!

L'hotel si trova in un palazzo storico di indiscutibile fascino e all'interno sono presenti arredamenti e vari oggetti d'antiquariato. La posizione è una delle migliori che si possa avere a Carloforte, direttamente sul porto e con la vista sul mare. Sia che si arrivi in macchina, sia che si arrivi a piedi, si arriva letteralmente facendo due passi appena. Colazione buona e abbondante, personale gentile e accogliente.

Elegante palazzo adibito a struttura ricettiva, camere pulite e silenziose con un'ottima vista porto, giardino interno a sorpresa, colazione e relax in giardino. Buona scelta di prodotti per colazione, eccezionale il favo del miele originale.

Sabato sera

L'hotel si trova sul lungomare a 200 m circa allo sbarco del traghetto. Il parcheggio sulla strada è a pagamento. Abbiamo pagato 8 euro dalla sera fino alla mattina dopo. L'ascensore non funziona per le persone ma solo per i bagagli. L'aria condizionata ok ma tutta la notte in camera si sentiva un fastidioso ronzio proveniente dal contatore della luce. Carino il giardino su cui si affaccia la camera. Colazione discreta.

Ho prenotato una doppia superior...immagino la standard... il letto matrimoniale era composto da due materassi singoli, non aveva testata ma solo reti. Televisore veramente piccolo. Aria condizionata non funzionante. Mancava un poggia asciugamani sostituito da un mobiletto in plastica dove poggiare tutto, anche il phon caldo...stanza dotata di lucernaio basculante e non di finestra e nella in cui ho soggiornato eran presenti molte zanzare. Per il resto hotel veramente bello, col suo giardino molto curato!

Perfect stay here. Phenomenally well-located at the end of the main stretch in the port area, easy walk to all the great restaurants and gorgeous back/side streets, as well as views onto the port and a grocery store just a block or two away. The room had everything we needed - - was clean, simple, and well appointed, and the breakfast which was included was the perfect start to our day. Also, probably most important, the staff was phenomenal, and extremely helpful with their time and local insights. We actually had trouble with our rental car while there and the staff went out of their way to make calls on our behalf and track down a local mechanic (on a weekend no less), speak with representatives at the rental agency to discuss the problem, and make sure our downtime was limited and we were treated fairly overall. Forever grateful for their efforts and going above and beyond (for someone who was a guest for only two nights), thanks so much! Fully recommend, beautiful town and island, perfect place to call home while there.

Albergo grazioso, personale molto affabile camera gradevole. Parcheggio auto (non compreso) problematico. Servizio di Facchinaggio non compreso. Il Wi-Fi purtroppo disponibile solo nelle parti comuni ed il segnale di copertura delle varie compagnie telefoniche in stanza era debolissimo ( almeno di Wind e Fastweb). Colazione non all’altezza di un albergo a 4 stelle.

Wonderful hotel

This was a historical interesting hotel in a quiet location on the bay front. The manager was very helpful and felt like a friend by the time we left. Very warm welcome made our trip outstanding.
