"Everything was great! Would definitely stay here again. Safe, quiet area near Legoland! Short drive to downtown Carlsbad and beach. Staff was very friendly. Comfortable and spacious rooms— even sofa bed was comfortable! Free delicious buffet breakfast, milk and cookies in the evening. "

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Very convenient location to hwy 5. Tammarrak Beach, Carlsbad Village, and Oceanside, are just a couple of streets down. Room and motel grounds were very clean. No breakfast was served, or coffee makers in the room, but coffee was free in the lobby. I purchased groceries and saved a lot on food costs overall. Walmart is within 7 minutes and our room had a large refigerator and small microwave. Bring toiletries, our room only had bar soap and hairdryer. Overall great experience. Plan to return to this motel for nice and affordable stay."

"We found the location perfect for walking to the beach. Downtown Carlsbad was just a short drive away. I really liked the detailed instructions to just about everything you would have questions on. The instructions for the hot tub were perfect. I like to cook and found just about everything I needed to cook meals and even a cake. The family room was very comfortable and we had 8 guests. I would recommend this property to all my friends."

"Immediately upon arrival the agent that check me and my wife into to the room seem to have a bitter attitude. The greeting was no warm at all. My wife and I were confused how the deposit and hold to get the room was handled. My is way more thorough than I and we both were confused when she (front desk) said your room was paid online but we need a credit card for 100 for the room. I said to the agent will we get charged right now or is that an incidental hold. She just repeated we need a credit card for 100. Needless to say my wife credit card was charged 100.00 on 3/20 Friday but we checked out on Monday 3/16! So.i called back to the hotel and of course the agent reminded me that she knew who we were. She then proceeds to tell me there's a difference a hold a charge and every hotel has the discretion to charge that fee.. There were issues at this hotel we checked in and so therefore they charge a 100 deposit instead of a incidental hold...so livid!!! Cause the customer service was on zero from her because she says that she mentioned that to my wife and we signed the paperwork so we understood what was happening. If this is how Days inn conducts business from a bait and switch position, I definitely will not be staying "

"Extended family getaway to scatter ashes of our mom/grandma. Great communication from the property management company . House is clean, beds are comfy, bathrooms were great, kitchen is nice and functional for a large group. Only critique is that we tend to cook a lot at rentals, so we would have liked to see more large serving bowl options. The back yard is dreamy and we enjoyed the sunshine every chance we got and the grill worked great! Even with the location being in such a highly populated area it was very quiet inside and out, which was great. Grocery stores are nearby. Short walk to pickup pizza from Leucadia and yummy pies at the Village Kitchen and Pie shop. A/C worked well, though I suggest closing the blinds on the west facing rooms in the afternoon to help it keep up. We easily ran down Tamarack to the beach (less than a mile) There is so much to see and do in the area, so we would love to be able to come back again for a longer stay. "
